FALL

Use wine corks to stamp red, orange and yellow leaves on the trees. Discuss how and why the leaves change color and fall to the ground. You can also talk about how these three colors are warm colors!

WINTER

To get an icy blue color, mix light blue and white. Discuss why the trees are completely bare and what causes that. Talk about how the weather in the winter is very different than the other seasons because it’s so much colder.

SPRING

For spring we stamped light green and dark green. We mixed the green paint with white paint to get a lighter color, then we added pink flowers. Discuss how the leaves grow back throughout spring and flowers begin to bloom.

SUMMER

For our summer tree, we simply covered it in green leaves. Discuss how the weather in summer is very warm which could effect the trees and plants because in some dry places, it may never in the summer.
