Happy Easter Card
Create a Happy Easter card for someone special! Use a paper plate to make a basket and fill with fun Pom bunnies!
Step 1. Gather your supplies.
To create your basket, first fold your paper plate in half and use scissors to cut along the crease.
Take half of the plate that you just cut and punch 2 holes along the straight edge of the plate. One hole on the left side and one on the right side as shown.
To create a handle for your basket, first take one Shimmer Stick and one Fuzzy Stick, and twist together. Then attach the stick to the holes you punched in Step 3.
Paint your basket and set aside to dry.
Cut a strip of green construction paper and fold in half. To create a grassy look, cut the paper every ½ inch, making little strips. Make sure you don't cut the paper all the way through.
Keep the grass folded and glue to the backside of your basket. Tip: add a layer of glue inside the bottom of the fold.
Fold another piece of green construction paper in half to make a card.
Apply glue to the back of the paper plate basket and attach to the front of your card. The basket should sit along the bottom edge of the card.
To make the bunnies, begin with a large Pom and glue (2) white small poms and (1) tiny pom to create the cheeks and nose of your bunny. Glue (2) Wiggly Eyes above the nose.
Repeat Step 11 to make the second bunny.
Glue the bunnies on the card, placing them above the basket. "Fluff" the grass to create texture by bending and folding it in different angles.
To create ears for your bunny, cut a white Fuzzy Stick into (4) equal pieces. Take one piece and fold in half, attaching the ends together to form an ear shape. Repeat with the remaining 3 pieces.
Glue the ears on the card above the bunnies.
In the space at the top of the card spell out "Happy Easter" using the foam alphabet stickers.
