Transform pasta into adorable jungle animals that can inspire hours of imaginary play!

To create the elephant, begin by gluing 2 wagon wheels on top of each other. Repeat. These will be the elephant’s ears.

Glue the 2 pairs of wagon wheels to a third wagon wheel, as shown. This will be the elephant’s head.

Glue 5 wagon wheels on top of each other. This will be the elephant’s body.

Match the top edge of the 5 wagon wheels to the middle wagon wheels of the elephant’s head, then glue.

Glue 4 rigatoni diagonally to the body of the elephant, 2 in the front and 2 in the back.

Glue together (3) 2”-3” pieces of fusilli.

Glue the fusilli trunk to the center of the wagon wheel face.

Paint the elephant gray.

Paint 4 mini wagon wheels black. These will be the elephant’s feet.

Once dry, glue a mini wagon wheel to the bottoms of the rigatoni legs.

Fold black friendship thread into an oval and wrap one end.

Cut the loops of the other end to create the elephant’s tail.

Glue the tail to the center of the last wagon wheel.

Glue on wiggly eyes so your elephant can see.

To create the giraffe, begin by threading 4 penne pastas onto a tan fuzzy stick. Fold in half, 2 penne on each side.

Trim the excess fuzzy stick and glue mini peace pasta onto each end of the fuzzy stick.

Repeat. These will be the giraffe’s legs.

Thread 4 penne pasta onto a tan fuzzy stick, leaving about an inch and a half on one end.

Wrap the longer end of the penne around the centerfold of one pair of the legs. Trim the excess fuzzy stick, leaving about 1" for the giraffe's tail.

Wrap the fuzzy stick with the 4 penne around the centerfold of the other leg, at the point between the last penne and the third penne.

Cut a 3” piece from a tan fuzzy stick. Fold in the ends, as shown.

Glue the folded fuzzy stick to a pasta shell. Fold the ends up to look like ears. This will be the giraffe’s head.

Cut a 3” piece from a brown fuzzy stick. Fold into a V.

Roll the ends of the brown fuzzy stick to create 2 small balls on each end.

Glue the giraffe's head to the end of the fuzzy stick-penne neck.

Paint brown spots all over the pasta.

Glue on wiggly eye's so your giraffe can see.

To create the lion, begin by gluing together 6 wagon wheels.

Glue a rigatoni on top of the pile of wagon wheels. This will be the lion’s body.

Glue a wagon wheel to the end of a rigatoni. Repeat. These will be the lion’s legs and feet.

Glue the lion’s legs to the sides of the lion’s body.

Cut (5) 5” pieces from a red fuzzy stick. Slide a penne onto each end, leaving a blank space in the middle.

Twist all the centers together. Trim any excess from the fuzzy sticks. Glue the inside end of the penne to secure.

In-between the penne, glue 3” pieces of fusilli.

Glue the finished mane to the piece of rigatoni on the wagon wheels. Paint it yellow, brown and red to mimic the colors of a real lion’s mane.

Once dry, glue a wagon wheel to the middle of the mane. This will be the lion’s face.

Glue a small yellow pom onto each side of the lion’s face, as shown.

Glue 2 wiggly eyes and a mini brown pom to complete the lion’s face.
