  • Cardboard Tube
  • Craft Glue
  • Sissors

Instructions

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.

Start by creating the design shown on the square pegboard.

Step 3.

While you are crafting, ask an adult to preheat an iron to a medium setting. Once you have finished your design, place the wax ironing sheet provided in your melty beads kit over your design. Have an adult use the iron to melt the beads. Make sure to keep the iron level and apply even pressure to the entire piece. Gently iron the beads in a circular motion for 10-20 seconds or until you can see the beads melt completely together.

Step 4.

While the beads are still warm, remove the wax paper from the peg board. Note: the beads will stick to the paper. Have an adult help you carefully press the design, paper side down, against a cardboard tube. Since the beads are still warm, the design will curve to fit around the tube. Continue holding the design against the tube until it cools down but be careful! ** Adult assistance may be required

Step 5.

Remove the wax paper. The design will stay curved in the shape of the tube.

Step 6.

Repeat steps 2-5 to create a second curved design, identical to the first.

Step 7.

To create the napkin ring, cut a piece from the end of the cardboard tube, wide enough to fit the curved melty bead designs.

Step 8.

Paint the ring white and let dry.

Step 9.

Glue the 2 curved melty bead designs around the cardboard ring and your napkin ring is complete. All your friends will be amazed and want to know how you created curved melty beads!
