Cable Tie Snowflakes
Create a decorative snowflake out of cable ties and beads to complete your winter decorations!

- 4" Light Blue Cable Ties
- 11" Opaque Cable Ties
- 8" Opaque Cable Ties
Step 1. Gather your materials.
Cut off the lock and pointed end an 11″ cable tie.
Tape both ends together to make a circle.
Zip (8) 8″ cable ties onto the circle. Space them out as evenly as possible.
In every other space, zip the light blue cable ties.
In the remaining spaces, zip the dark blue cable ties onto the circle.
Cut off the locks of (8) dark blue and (8) light blue cable ties.
Slide the locks half an inch from the base, light blue locks on dark blue cable ties and dark blue locks on light blue cable ties.
Slide light blue stars onto the dark blue cable ties, then secure it in with another light blue lock. Slide dark blue pony beads onto the light blue cable ties, and secure with another dark blue lock.
Cut off 16 opaque cable tie locks.
Place (8) of the locks onto the 8″ cable ties a 1/2″ above the beads.
Cut a piece of elastic cording and tie it around one of the top light blue locks.
Weave the cording up and down from the small locks to the large locks to create a star shape.
Slide (3) translucent pony beads onto the 8″ cable ties.
Add the rest of the large cable tie locks onto the 8″ cable ties. Place them a 1/2″ above where the blue cable ties end.
Cut about a 1/2″ off the end of the blue cable ties.
Add the remaining small cable tie locks onto the ends of the blue cable ties.
Tie a piece of blue friendship thread and rainbow sparkle elastic cording together, then wrap them around one of the locks on the 8″ cable ties.
Weave the cording up and down from the 8″ lock to the locks on the blue cable ties.
