Upcycle a CD to create a fun spin toy!


Materials

Step 1. Gather your materials.

To remove the top layer of a CD, use tape. Stick a piece of tape onto the CD, then pull back to peel.

Step 3

Repeat on both sides of the CD until it is transparent.

Step 4

Split the CD into 6 sections. Paint 3 of the sections blue on the top of the CD.

Flip the CD over and paint the remaining sections yellow.

Glue a button over the hole on each side.

Step 7

Cut a 12" piece of princess elastic cording. Slide each end through two of the buttonholes, as shown. Pull it all the way through.

Tie the ends into a double knot.

Repeat Steps 7 & 8 in the other buttonholes.

Step 10

Twist the elastics and pull!
