Craft Stick Cactus

Step  1.

Gather your materials.

How To Make A Cactus:

Step  2.

Cut 2 green jumbo craft sticks into four pieces each.

Step  3.

Glue two end pieces to the main trunk of the cactus.

Step  4.

Attach the other two end pieces to create the “arms” of the cactus.

How To Make A Cowboy Hat:

Step  5.

Print and cut out the hat template provided.

Step  6.

Use the template to trace and cut out craft foam to form the cowboy hat.

Transform your cactus into a cowboy!

Step  7.

Paint the base of your hat brown. Glue the hat to the top of your cactus.

Step  8.

Glue wiggly eyes, and draw or paint a smile to give your cowboy cactus a face.

Step  9.

Draw or paint small triangles all over to represent the spikes. Don’t forget to glue on a star jewel to give your cowboy a sheriff’s badge!

How To Make A Lasso:

Step  10.

Tie a slipknot in your cording to form a lasso shape.

Step  11.

Glue the lasso to your cowboy cactus, and add a green gemstone nose! Now your cactus is complete!
