Decoupage Cupcake Bank

Decoupage tissue paper onto a plaster cupcake bank and top it off with rhinestone sprinkles!

Materials

  • 25 Pack Assorted Paint Brushes
  • Tissue Paper
  • Scissors
  • Decoupage Glue

Instructions

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

 

 

 Step 2.

 

Cut tissue paper in small rectangles.

Tip: Don’t tear the tissue paper, unless you want the edges to be rough.

 

 Step 3.

 

Paint a layer of decoupage glue onto the area you want to start with. We started with the bottom of the cupcake.

 

 Step 4.

 

Place a piece of tissue paper on the wet area and paint a layer of decoupage glue over the tissue paper.

 

 Step 5.

 

If you want to add a second layer of tissue paper, repeat steps 3 & 4 over the first layer.

 

 Step 6.

 

Once your cupcake is covered in tissue paper, add rhinestones on top while the decoupage glue is still wet.
