Holiday Votives

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2. Use the glitter glue to draw a holiday design on a plastic cup.

Tip- Squeeze the glitter glue gently to avoid using too much glue. If you apply too much glue, it will create drips in the design. Let dry.

Step 3.

Once the glitter glue has dried, start coloring in the design with sun catcher paint.

Step 4.

Finish painting the whole design with the sun catcher paint. Once dried, the paint will be translucent and light will be able to shine through.

Step 5.

Make horizontal stripes around another plastic cup with masking tape, as shown. Paint the areas between the masking tape with blue sun catcher paint.

Step 6.

Once dry, gently remove the masking tape and you will have nice clean stripes on the cup.

Step 7.

Finish decorating the cup by drawing dots and snowflakes with glitter glue.

Step 8.

Use masking tape to create diagonal stripes around a third cup. Paint the areas between the masking tape with red sun catcher paint. Let dry.

Step 9.

Remove the masking tape and outline the red strips with glitter glue. Let the glitter glue dry thoroughly.

Step 10.

Once the glitter glue is dried, paint the clear areas with white sun catcher paint.

Step 11.

Add LED tea lights to the painted cups and decorate the table this holiday season.
