“Home is Where Mom Is” Heart Suncatcher

Melt translucent pony beads to create a beautiful suncatcher and show mom that home isn’t where the heart is; it’s where she is!

Trace the mold onto a piece of aluminum foil. Cut out the shape.

Place the foil in the bottom of the mold.

Step 4

ill the mold with clear pony beads, then sprinkle colored beads throughout.

Place a spiral closure in the top center of the heart where the dip of the two arches is. Ask an adult to preheat the oven to 450 degrees and place the mold into the oven for 25-35 minutes.

Ask an adult to take the mold out of the oven. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then twist the spiral closure out of the mold.

Pop the heart out of the mold and peel off the aluminum foil.

Paint “Home is Where Mom is” onto the heart.

Tie a loop with natural braiding cord to hang.
