Just My Style™ Bottle Cap Jewelry
Make necklaces and bracelets using the designs from the Just My Style™ Bottle Cap Jewelry activity kit.
Step 1. Gather your supplies.
Spread a layer of glitter glue inside a bottle cap.
Pick a patterned circle from the kit and place it in the bottle cap. Tip: If your circle pattern has a design with a top and bottom, it needs to be set upright. (Examples: words and phrases, hearts or peace symbols) Make sure to center the circle in between the holes on each side of the bottle cap before gluing in place.
Spread some glue over the pattern for some added sparkle, add gemstones and sequins.
After completing the bottle cap, lightly squeeze the glaze onto the bottle cap until your design is covered.
Repeat steps 2-5 to make several more bottle caps. Let the glaze dry overnight before moving to the next step.
To make a necklace, attach a split ring into 1 hole of a bottle cap. Tip: Press the side of the bottle cap against the split ring so that the ring pushes open and then slide the split ring around into the hole.
Thread the bottle cap on a long piece of elastic cord, add beads on each side to complete the necklace.
To make a single bottle cap bracelet start with a 12” piece of elastic cord. Loop the elastic cord up and over the first hole.
Then bring the cord across the back of the cap, and up over the edge.
Slide your bottle cap to the middle of the cord, add beads to each side to complete the bracelet.
To make a bottle cap charm bracelet, link the bottle caps together using the split rings. Attach the split ring to right side of one bottle cap, now link a second bottle cap to the split ring.
Link as many bottle caps together as you will need to make a bracelet.
To complete, tie your bracelet together using the elastic cord.
