Celebrate the Olympic Games by decorating rocks to look like the flags of the world!

 

Whether you use stencils, resist-tape techniques, or freehand — all you have to do it paint basic shapes and patterns to create perfect flag designs.

Step  1.

Many countries’ flags are comprised of stripes! Paint one color at a time, letting each one dry before starting the next color — don’t forget to wash your brush in between colors!

Some flags may look complicated — try to separate them into basic shapes. Once you identify which ones, paint them on one at a time!
