  • Large Paper Plate
  • Scissors
  • Craft Glue

Instructions

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.

Cut a paper plate in half.

Step 3.

Start painting one half of the plate with green Paint. Make long brush strokes starting from the center of the plate, like a fan, as shown.

Step 4.

Finish the plate by painting designs along the edge. Use yellow, purple, and light blue paint, which are colors often seen on peacock feathers.  Look at pictures of real peacock feathers to help you while painting your own design. Let the plate dry.

Step 5.

To make the body of the peacock, glue (2) medium Neon Blue Poms together and then glue to  (1) large Neon Blue Pom.

Step 6.

Cut a small piece of an orange Fuzzy Stick and fold in half to create the beak.  Glue the beak and Wiggly Eyes to finish the peacock’s face.

Step 7.

Peacocks have some decorative feathers on their head.  To make the head feathers, cut (3) small pieces of the Neon Blue Fuzzy Stick.  Glue tiny Neon Green Poms to each of the Fuzzy Stick pieces.

Step 8.

Glue the decorative feathers to the peacock’s head. Make some feet from the orange Fuzzy Stick. Click here and follow steps 5-6 to make the feet.  Glue the feet to the peacock.

Step 9.

Finish decorating the painted plate with Acrylic Jewels on top and white Feathers glued on the backside.

Step 10.

Glue the pom peacock body to the plate to complete your craft.
