Button Balloon Birthday Card

Create an adorable, simple birthday card using craft buttons as balloons!

Materials

  • Craft Buttons
  • Cardstock
  • Pencil
  • Black Marker
  • Craft Glue

Instructions

Step 1. Gather your supplies.


Step 2.

Fold a piece of cardstock in half horizontally.


Step 3.

Spell out “HAPPY BIRTHDAY (YOUR FRIEND’S NAME HERE)” in foam sticker letters.


Step 4.

Glue (5) large craft buttons to the front of the card, as shown.


Step 5.

Using a pencil, draw “ribbon” coming from each button. Make sure all the ribbons come together!


Step 6.

Glue (3) smaller buttons to the card and draw ribbon from those buttons, as shown.


Step 7.

Go over the pencil in black marker.


Step 8.

Add a bow where the ribbon comes together. Use (2) small adhesive heart acrylic jewels and (1) circle in the middle.
