Carefully cut the rounded ends off of a craft stick.

Glue horizontally to another standard craft stick. Measure out craft foam to fit outside the craft sticks.

Cut the craft foam into a diamond shape and glue the craft sticks to the shape.

Cut approximately 12 inches of a few strands of friendship thread and fold in half. Glue to the back of the craft foam.

Select your favorite colors of acrylic jewels. Glue 2 triangle or heart jewels to the friendship thread to create bows on the tail of the kite.
