Guest Post: DIY Sparkling Geodes
GUEST POST: Celebrating With The Bug
I am super excited to share this sparkling geode craft with you! Thanks so much, Craft Project Ideas, for allowing Celebrating With The Bug this fun opportunity! I have chosen to share this particular craft with you because it brings together two of my family’s favorite things: glitter and the great outdoors! We love hiking as a family and often stop along the trail to admire unique rocks. My husband and I encourage our kids to leave nature where we find it so that others can enjoy it, too, even though some of it is tempting to bring home. Snapping pictures is a great way to remember all the awesome things we see, like this pretty crystal formation we found! It’s been a long winter, and the kids and I are itching to get back on the trail. Photos are wonderful, but with the breeze on our faces and dirt under our feet seeming so far away, it was time to get physical! We chose to do that by creating our own “nature” with these sparkling DIY geodes. Follow along, and we will guide you through the adventure!
