Foam Christmas Tree

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.

Use Acrylic Paint to cover foam cone green. Tip: you might also try pouring a small amount of paint onto a plate and using a foam brush to paint it on. This helps get the paint in the little cracks of the foam surface for full coverage.

Step 3.

Once the paint is dry it’s time to decorate.  Wrap Glitter Sticks around the cone. Tip: since the Glitter Sticks have a wire piece inside, try sticking the end into the foam to secure it as you wrap it around the cone shape.

Step 4. 

Use craft glue to adhere Poms as the ornaments.

Step 5.

Use a Glitter Stick to form a star shape. First bend and fold to form the shape shown.

Step 6.

Continue forming the star with the bends and folds shown.

Step 7.

Complete the star shape, leaving a long end of the glitter stick. Insert this long end into the top of the foam cone to complete your tree. Create one or several Christmas trees to proudly display on your mantle or front entrance table. For more Holiday craft ideas using foam, watch this video!
