Did you know you can paint many different kinds of food out of one simple shape? All it takes is a half-moon, a little creativity and a few different colors!

Getting Started

Paint a half moon shape in white on the flattest surface of the rocks you have. Starting with a white base coat makes your colors really pop!

Materials

Made By Me Rock Art kit
Acrylic Paint
Paintbrush

Small-Medium Rocks

Decoupage Glue (Optional)

Varnish Spray (Optional)

Instructions

Ugli Fruit/Lemon/Lime/Orange

Step  1.

These four fruits have a lot in common – they’re all citrus fruits! You can generally use this method for any citrus fruits and just change up the colors!

For our Ugli fruit, we mixed 2 parts yellow and 1-part green to create a lime yellow-green color for the rind. Once mixed, paint a line on the edge of the curved part of the half-moon shape and let dry. Then fill in the rest of the white area with a light orange color. To lighten your orange paint, you may need to add a little bit of white. Once the orange paint dries, add “walls” to show each segment with white paint.
